About Terminal

Our terminal provides a full range of transport and forwarding services, as well as all types of support necessary for the effective transshipment of grain crops and their processing products of Ukrainian origin in bulk.

Cargo processing is carried out at our own facilities, located on our own private territory with access to the water, not far from the Izmail Sea Commercial Port.

Cargo Transshipment

Truck → Vessel

Cargo transshipment from road transport is carried out using a direct technological scheme “truck – vessel” at the terminal berth via dedicated transshipment lines. Three conveyor-type ship loaders ensure efficient cargo transfer directly on board the vessel.

The quantity of cargo received into storage or loaded onto a vessel is determined by weighing both loaded and empty trucks on the terminal’s truck scales equipped with strain gauge sensors.

In case of discrepancies between the cargo quantity indicated in shipping documents and the scale readings, a shortage is recorded. At the customer’s request, an additional weighing report with a register of all vehicles that passed through the terminal scales is provided.

The terminal is equipped with two pairs of modern truck scales (up to 70 t), operating on strain gauge sensors with minimal error. Office and laboratory facilities are available, as well as an accounting group synchronized with the port office and an external dispatch center for managing the electronic queue of suppliers under CPT terms.

Hopper Wagon → Vessel

Cargo reception from railway hopper cars is carried out through an automated grain wagon unloading station, with subsequent transportation by the operator’s tipper trucks either to the storage facility or directly to the berth for transshipment into the vessel’s hold via the dedicated transshipment line.

The quantity of cargo loaded onto the vessel is determined by weighing the loaded and empty vehicles on the terminal’s truck scales equipped with strain gauge sensors.

Where technically feasible and subject to prior agreement between the parties, confirmed in the approved transshipment request, the customer may additionally use a fleet of open-top gondola wagons and mineral hopper cars.
